Grandparents Reading Day - April 26 - 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Duclos School welcomes our students’ grandparents or a special family member to come and read with us to build a love for reading in our students.

This is an old Duclos tradition that we are bringing back! On April 26th our students get to spend some quality time with their grandparents over a good book. If your child does not have a grandparent who can make it, please send an aunt or uncle or some special family member in their place.

Grandparents are encouraged to bring some of their grandkids favorite books or their own favorite books to read. If they don’t have any books we will have some here at the school for them.

Please let your child’s teacher know who will be coming in by April 24th so we can make sure siblings get put together with their grandparents.

Grandparents will need to sign in at the office and head down to their grandchild’s classroom where the teacher will set them up with some books and a place to read. There will be 30 minutes of uninterrupted reading time to enjoy.

We thank all the families that participate in this event and look forward to meeting all of our special guests!

Happy Reading!!
